Laura has 25+ years of experience in the coxswain’s seat as both a collegiate, member of the national team training center, as a coach and selector of coxswains. Laura is a co-author of The Coxswain’s Encyclopedia and the U19 audio reviewer for coxswains hoping to get an invitation to the USA’s U19 summer camps.
Laura earned her B.A. of Arts in English, M.Ed. in English Education, M.Ed. in Special Education and is currently a doctoral candidate in School Psychology at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
Laura is an expert in coaching coxswains and helping coaches coach their coxswains better. Given Laura’s background in collegiate coaching, she also sheds a unique light on the complex recruiting process for the coxswain’s seat. Coxswains & coaches: come learn from someone coaching on a daily basis.
